Join us for a presentation by Professor Christian Ledezma, the Head of the Structural and Geotechnical Engineering Department at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). Dr. Ledezma is also the vice president of ACHISINA, Chile’s Association of Earthquake Engineering, and an active member in the discussion and elaboration of Chilean seismic codes.  Lessons from recent large-magnitude earthquakes in Chile will be presented and discussed, with an emphasis on changes in seismic design codes and future challenges for earthquake engineering analysis and design.

The presentation will be online and held on 1st of October 2020 at 1:00 PM PT.
